“ Good food, great service. I've lived in Smyrna for 2 year's and this was my first time visiting La Siesta. Before I reach for the salt and pepper I always sample my food first. I had the Monday special which was 2 enchiladas, rice and beans. It's a bit difficult finding good authentic refried beans and even harder to find good Spanish rice. At La Siesta, I was pleasantly surprised that both were authentic tasting so needless to say, I ate the portions which I consider generous for the price of the lunch plate. The enchiladas were just as delicious as the rest of my lunch and there was no need for me to reach for the salt or pepper. The chips were not the best, a bit thick and dry, I suspect that they buy the chips in bulk and potentially has GMOs in them but again I don't know for certain and I could be wrong. My server, his name was Able and he was very good at his craft. When I walked into the restaurant I was greeted immediately and was seated in less than 1 minute. Able greeted me as soon as I was seated, asked me what I would like to drink. I was in a bit of a hurry so I had placed my order at the same time. My drink, chips and salsa were delivered very fast and I waited no more than 10 minutes before my lunch was served. I will most definitely come back and try the dinner menu in the near future. As far as price and value, take a look at the picture, you can not get this kind of meal for the price I paid at any fast food restaurant and the service there was quicker than if you walked into a Starbucks for one cup of coffee.
